Long over due update

So if we update our Blog once a year, maybe some people will be happy.
Halloween was a big holiday for us, it started with our Annual Halloween Party for the Adults October 9th. We teamed up with our Friends the Williams and had a Murder Mystery dinner, about 46 or so of our friends were able to make it and we all had a good time.

Here is Jen & Trent as Disney's "Enchanted" Jezebel & Prince Edward.

The Kids have been busy also. Allison has been enjoying Soccer with our neighbor Gustavo as her coach. Her team won more games than they loss and she had a fun time in the process.
Alli also dressed up this year as a She Devil for Halloween.

Olivia has been enjoying Cheer this summer and into Fall. She took Cheer Camp for a month and then when the little league football started up they would cheer for a team at the local field. Olivia has also been taking tumbling from our neighbor and she can now do a back-bend-walk-over all by herself.
She Dressed up as a Skeleton for Halloween this year.

Remington Started Preschool this Fall and is having a great time. His first day of School was the day before his birthday, so they made him the special helper with the crown and badge. With all the other fun stuff they did for the first day of School he was looking pretty decked out and feeling very special. So you know who loves to go to School now.
Rem was Superman for Halloween this year, Jen taught him the proper Superman pose (you know with your fists tight and resting on your hips) so every time someone would recognise him he would assume the position.

Jen has been bussy with the kids and there homework and Trent working hard traveling.

The Annual Whittaker Halloween Party

This was last years costume, Trent won scariest. I will definately post our costumes for this year. I am so excited!

Visit to the Emergency Roon

Yes, you read it correctly, we did have to visit the ER. Allison was being a doll and was keeping Remington occupied while I got some cleaning done and next thing I hear is blood curtling screams! "My ear, My ear!" I honestly thought that her poor ear was compeletly gone! When I saw it, I was relieved to see the ear still mostly intact. What had indeed happened was she was running after Remington and she slipped on a rug by our island in the kitchen slamming her pierced ear against the counter top and shoving her earring up, yes that is right, up her ear. The force of the blow also caused the back of her ear lobe to split wide open. Total we were in it 2 stitches in the front and 8 along the back of the lobe. No worries, however; she is fine and she had the stitches removed today. We are back in business again! She is so strong and mature for her age. She handled the entire situation with such maturity and courage. She even managed to find the good in it all. As we were leaving the ER she said with a smile on her face. "I can't wait til I can go to school and show my class my stitches." WOW what a woman!

Here is our family! And some pics of my wonderful children! Our oldest - Allison, who will be 8 this year, Olivia - 5, and Remington - who will be 2 next month (I can't believe it!) They are so much fun and I cannot think of a more rewarding and satisfying job than that of a mother.

The Amazing Whittaker Family

I have held off as long as I could; however, after seeing all my wonderful friends and family write about their amazing family experiences and opportunities, I thought this a good time to share my own. I want to introduce our wonderful family!
